Hello My Name Is...

Bambi Johns

My name is Bambi Johns. This is my 20th year of teaching. I have been at Apison Elementary and teaching third grade for seventeen years. I taught at Spring Creek Elementary for three years in the beginning of my school career. 

Prior to becoming a teacher, I was a branch manager for a finance company for 15 years. In 2000, I went back to college to get my teaching degree. I graduated from UTC in 2004. I obtained my Master’s degree from Tusculum College in 2006.

I have been married to my husband Steve for 39 years. I have two sons, Hunter, age  30, and Trevor, age 28. Both were married about four years ago, so I have two beautiful  daughters-in law, Kelsey and Hillary. I have one dog, a Treeing Walker Hound named Walker, and 3 grand dogs-Sully, Percy, and Daisy Mae.
