American poet, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow once stated

Kind deeds are the fruits,
Take care of your garden,

Fill it with sunshine,
Kind words, and Kind deeds.”

 Caysie Evans
March Teacher of the Month is Mrs. Evans

Mrs. Caysie Evans  is a teacher who looks into the eyes of our 1st graders and with her soft voice quiets their fears and reassures them that everything is going to be alright.  They easily listen and follow the lilt of her voice as if mesmerized.
This demeanor does not go unnoticed by parents either.  They adore her and want their children in her classroom.  Equally, her colleagues adore her and she creates an environment where not only students but all are welcome.
In the words of Carl Buechner, “They may forget what you said but they will never forget how you make them feel”.  Mrs. Evans makes students want to come to school because they feel wanted, loved, and…smart.  Today, we celebrate Mrs. Caysie Evans as the State Farm Teacher of the Month for March.

Her role as our valuable Librarian has significantly contributed to student success in a variety of ways. There is true dedication to fostering a love of reading and learning among our students which has left a lasting impact on their academic journey.  Quoted from Dr. Suess, “The more that you read, the more things you will know.
