Information about Whiteboards

AES @ Home Parents,

Many times during instruction, students use whiteboards with dry erase markers during lessons. This will be the case with AES @ Home as teachers work with students remotely. 

Please use this LINK if you would like to purchase a white board like the one pictured below. I have linked Amazon, but these can be purchased at Office Depot, Staples, etc.

Whiteboards can also be made from shower board (purchased at Home Depot or Lowe’s). The links below provide several examples of how you can create your own whiteboard for use at home.

2nd Grade Supply List

  • 2 wide ruled spiral bound notebooks (1 subject only)
  • 5 plastic pocket folders (blue/red/green/purple/orange) Heavy Duty-No Paper Folders with prongs
  • 2 packs of 24 Ticonderoga Pencils with erasers
  • 12 glue sticks
  • 1 zippered pencil pouch with 3-holes and a see through front
  • Box of 24 crayons
  • 1 scissors
  • 1 plastic pencil box
  • 3 reams of white copy paper (dropped off at school}
  • 1 ream of color copy paper (dropped off at school)
  • 1 ream of white card stock paper (dropped off at school)
  • 4 packages Narrow or Thin Expo dry erase markers
  • 2 packages of black Chisel Point Expo dry erase markers
  • Washable markers
  • 1 package of Post-its
  • 1 ream of handwriting paper- Zaner Bloser vertical


  • 1 box of sandwich-sized Ziploc bags (dropped off at school)
  • 1 pack of 25 sheet protectors (dropped off at school)


  • 1 box of gallon sized Ziploc Bags (dropped off at school)
  • 1 ream of colored card stock paper (dropped off at school)

The supplies marked as (dropped off at school) will be used to create study material bags for the at home students. Once these bags are prepared, the teacher will notify the students and they can be picked up from the drop-off location.
