                                                                           Welcome parents and students!

Let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Liz Fleming. I have been a special education teacher for sixteen years. I completed my undergraduate and Master's Degrees in Education from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Go VOLS!! Yes, I am a Tennessee Vols fan! I used to enjoy going to the games with my husband, but have now turned that tradition over to my son, Austin.  I have two children;   Austin, age 13, and Madi, age 8. They keep me hopping and laughing at all times. I have been married to my husband, Dusty for 22 wonderful years. We have been best friends since high school.

I am blessed to have three sisters, four beautiful nieces and two handsome nephews and of course two loving parents and two amazing in-laws!  Christmas time is always a blast!  I love my family and cherish our times together.

Some of my hobbies include: reading, sewing, being outdoors with my family, gardening

I love teaching students with special needs. It is a challenging, yet rewarding career. I am always seeking new methods and strategies to assist in teaching my students. I enjoy developing relationships with both students and parents.

Mission Statement:

My mission as a teacher is to introduce life skills to all of my students that will help them obtain a more independent and socially appropriate lifestyle.
