Bio

I am very excited about beginning my journey at Apison this year. Being a teacher is the most satisfying role that a person could have. I firmly believe the best things in life can not be bought. Witnessing a young person having an "aha" moment of discovery is truly priceless! To me, children are like diamonds in the rough. They have the ability to shine. I am just one of the lucky ones that is able to mold (polish) them!

Variety is the spice of life and I have many roles that are all extremely important to me. I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, teacher, and ventriloquist. I sometimes enjoy blending the ventroliquism with education and also utilize it at church. I also need to mention, I am a dog lover. My students will hear about the adventures of Sunny, my Golden Retriever. Gardening and watching my son play high school baseball, at East Hamilton, are other events I enjoy. Go CANES!!!

I am looking forward to an amazing school year. Watching the growth of my students is a wonderful experience. Additionally, I love to incorporate humor into our school day. Learning needs to be fun, and we will have fun!!!
